i got the plate bulbs off ebay... i had to use a resistor to get rid of the bulb out warnings, but that's easy to do.

Looks great!

The only reason I didn't get interior LED's for my car is because it would look funky with the beige interior.
I just got the LEDs under each door, trunk LED's, and plate LED's.

Get the resistor at Radio Shack, this one.
Here

then wrap the wires around the holes in the light fixture then put the bulb in and you're done! if you don't understand i can take pictures later to show you.

I think it looks pretty good with gray interior.... still need to get LEDs for under the door though, that's the next ones.

Please post a pic if you can.

Also why do we need to put a resistor? I would have thought it should have been a straight forward swap if the ratings are the same. I have never used LED lights so maybe there is a reason for the resistor.

thanks.

cheers

Just a heads up...Nerweezy sells LED plate lights with built in resistors.
I only get an error message maybe 1 out of every 20 starts, and if I do get an error message it's always gone after 3 seconds.
Plus they are very bright.
