Well I have had the car for a few weeks now and the upgrade bug has hit. I am starting out slow and we will see where it ends. I have a few questions that I hope a few of you can chime in on.

1st upgrade is to replace the fog light bulbs. Using the search button says that the way to go is to get the PIAA Extreme Whites. But should I get the 4150K or the 4700K? Which one match the stock bi-xenons the best?

2nd upgrade is a ACS or ACS style wing and roof spoiler. I am leaning towards the non-authentic type because they can be had for 1/10 the price. I had one seller on eBay (carking2001) say I can get both for $300 painted and shipped. Has anyone dealt with this seller? Has anyone dealt with eBay sellers that I should buy from or avoid?

3rd Upgrade will be the ACS Style from bumper lip. Again as above does anyone have any info on who to get this from?

4th upgrade TBD
Thanks

Bill

Sounds like a good deal but my car is Black Sapphire. What seller did you buy the ACS lip from? How is the fit? Was alot of prep needed to make it fit?

I would get the HOEN xenonmatch fog bulbs. They're 1/3 the price of PIAA and identical. I paid $30. A lot of members have followed in my footsteps with these bulbs and are very happy.

I have the ACS replica roof spoiler. I got it on eBay from seller (led4you). I paid $49.95 (excluding shipping...think it was $20 for shipping). I had it painted and mounted locally. Paid about $70 for the paint and mounting job. Looks great. I was with member ECF this weekend who has the real ACS roof spoiler and mine is identical.

PS - I tried mounting it with 3M tape and it didn't work out that well. I had it redone by the body shop and I can tell you that it's not going anywhere.
How close a match are the Hoen bulbs. What K rating are they? I checked Hoen's site and they have the many types of bulbs that "match" the xenons. However with one match our BMW's the best? The titanium, xenonmatch or xenonmatch plus?

I found a seller that will sell me the PIAA 4150K for $54 shipped.

Did you buy this unit? How is the fitment? How much prep was needed before painting? This was one on ebay that I have been keeping an eye on.

Thanks

I have the xenonmatch (not plus) 9006's. You have to buy them off their site.

As for the roof spoiler, I'm not sure what the body shop used to mount it, but all the M5 owners in my area go to this guy and have work done by him. It's a flawless job. It's some sort of liquid/gel adhesive.
