my external mods are done!

First time posting a picture of my ride despite being a forum member for awhile. I just had to wait until my baby was near complete. In the last 3 weeks I've added style 166 and Michelin PS2s, AC Schnitzer roof and rear trunk spoilers, and Dinan exhaust to go along with my M-aero kit. The Dinan exhaust is sweet sounding ............ I'm broke for now but will add CAI, TB and chip in the Summer/Fall. I will post more close-up pictures later but I got this one before the sun went down. Thanks to everyone for inspiring me with your rides particularly darkside, lomag, and ryclark on the 166s and mixterk and eurocarfan for the acs mods Peace.

Outstanding! Looks great all around.
How would you describe the Dinan exhaust sound compared to stock?

Thanks Tachyon and all for props... I'm very pleased with the outcome. I just got the ACS mods and Dinan exhaust installed today. My dealer has done all the mods and are just great to work with.
Regarding Dinan exhaust - I frankly trusted my service advisor on this one. It is probably best to describe it as a civilized and refined rumble, especially discernable from stock from gear 1-3 when starting from a stop. I could not notice any difference on the highway at cruising speed. You definitely hear it at idle when you outside and with the window down but it does not exude any harshness or vibration at idle (again noticible but not jarring). I will post more pictures this week with shots on the tips - they are nice and large, polished stainless steel with Dinan engraving and they seat nice and flush with rear apron without hanging. The body shop guys loved the sound while they were doing my spoilers as it echoed in the large service bay. There are lots of good exhaust options out there as discussed on the forum. Dinan is not the cheapest but it's a quality product of moderate intensity (like a Remus judging from the descriptions) but not as boomy or aggressive as say a B&B.

Thanks for thinking that we inspired you mihusky! Your car looks sweeeet!! With the Dinan mods, and aside for having different wheels, your upgrade list will look almost identical to mine.
Your description of the Dinan exhaust is right on. The system sounds sporty (throaty and low yet mild rumbling) when you need it and silent and smooth when you don't...ie..during highway cruising. I've also been waiting patiently for their software. Certainly hope it'll be here this month, along with the air mass meter that they've been testing.
