My E60 Rebuild
Hi Guys
Thought some of you may be interested in this.
I owen a 535d M sport and had the misfortune of hitting a flood and then hitting a tree
Well my pride and joy was wrecked but I was determined to get it back on the road.
Thankfully the chassis was not bent and no kinks were on the frame no bulkhead and the engine got away without a scratch.
I have rebuilt the drivers side suspension and I am not currently fitting a new inner guard to bolt the new wing to and to finish the engine bay then i will rewire the front of the car for PDC and fog lights etc.
I have essenstially bought the front end of another wrecked 535d and I am transplanting all the parts I need into my car. The worst bit is the airbags went off so had to replace the dash (work in progress) but I am getting along with that nicely.
The engine cranks and fires and then cuts out I am guessing the BST has stopped power to the fuel pump but will address that further down the line.
Here are some pics
Thanks for looking

very hard hit but the suspension has been completly rebuilt using genuine BMW parts as well as a new subframe which fitted in perfectly with no alignment problems whatsoever so that is a good sign so hoping it will be okay that and the fact there is no structural damage so hopefully I will be okay

Got the new guard offered up today just waiting to be welded within the next week so shouldnt take too long test fitted all the panels that need to go on and they line up perfectly so that is a good result. After this new dash and airbags in redo any broken wiring then get the lights in and we are good to go
