Were I John, I'd get 19s as the max size (unless I was in tight with a cheap wheel refinisher and tire supplier).

Most people run the same rubber as 19s. 35 series front and 30 series rear. So the same amount of tire protection are on 20s as are on 19s. So really it isn't any different hitting a pothole.

Anyone running the 35F/30R 20s on a 530? I have a specific question: do you feel like you car's performance was hurt noticably going to larger overall diameter wheels?

I agree, I like NYC (if for no other reason than I get to see my Yankees more often), however, after growing up in Colorado NYC always felt too crowded for me. Here in Cali I get the best of both worlds, no winter and room to breathe (albeit LA smog I'm breathing, but hey, I smoke anyways). Best case for me would be to move back home to Denver, but that is a pipedream - no jobs there
