My Ride: 2006 Titanium Silver 550i, with all the bells and whistles!!

No pics yet, but I got my grille, rpi scoop, and BMC filter on Friday. Installed everything yesterday and removed the charcoal fillter while I was at it. Black grille looks great!
I'll try and get some pics up soon.
As for the scoop and filters, honestly I don't notice any difference in sound, or even at 70mph, what I do notice is that the sluggish split second hesitation is gone. this is most noticable at low rpm...no more bogging at 1500 rpm, and no more rough idle when cold. Probably a placebo effect, but my car feels a little more responsive to the gas pedal now. I probably should have just gone for the dinan cai and software, oh well, I got to tinker under the hood!
thanks for all the posts and DIY's, I had the grilles off in less than 5 minutes![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
Now the search for an exhaust can begin

Nope

Ok, so maybe I exaggerated...
hood up, weather strip off - 60 seconds
5 torx screws out - 120 seconds
top 3 tabs on passenger grill - 150 seconds
side clip at centre - 210 seconds
side clip next to headlight - 270 seconds
wiggle wiggle, three bottom clips - 300 seconds
next grill, total elapsed time = 360 seconds
