The pictures that I posted earlier are pics I quickly found on the internet.
Here are the real pics of the 172's they are reps, but they look really good, the 128's are 100% original from a e60 11/2008.
I think I'll go with the oem... I like the 172's alot but I think OEM is the way to go.

It is the same car
I imported the car from Germany. In the first pic (with german temp plates) was the day I arrived home. Then I got temp romanian plates for 2 months until I finish the import process.

A little update on a couple of small mods
fitted the M172 rims looks great! Riding on 255/35/19 on the front and 295/30/19 on the rear (Michelin - Pilot SPORT PS2).
Fitted the LCI tail-lights (with a german retrofit kit)
A small but nice mod: I changed the stock shifter (knob) with a short shifter Knob (ordered the knob from a E92 catalog). It really looks great! It gives a nice touch to the interior and looks way better then the original one, and I like the look now with the shifter and LCI i-drive knob.
LED License plate lights
Full tints (front & rear)
M Kit (Only installed the rear bumper, will intsall the rest of the kit next week, incl. rear wing)
That's about it I think. Will do a small DIY for the removal of the shifter and how to make the new shifter fit
Old shifter & idrive knob:

how about lowering, shadowline ?
Since you're going for a sporty look, maybe update the interior trims as well ( I replaced my wood with a custom trim)
