I found the coolest M Tec badge on e-bay...its going to look perfect once I remove my 530i

because your car isn't an m series car...... why misrepresent it? it takes EVERYTHING away from the class/look of your ride and says "poser" Can't stand it when people incorrectly badge their cars on purpose...

I was under the impression that if a car has a M Tec kit, one can put the M Tec badge (my dealer also suggested I order a M Tec badge) . I am not putting the M5 badge.. now that would be a poser. comments?

I see Adams point. Though it is your ride. If YOU like it then it will not hurt to try it. It might look good, but just don't add the 5.

The M badge can still be put on since he's got an Mtech kit. It represents M-Sport package. The emblem should be ok as long as it doesn't have the 5 with it.

besides, the steering wheels, the m-tech 135 rims, M-door sills all come with the M emblem...

i personally wouldn't do it though...
