This is my Superchipped 530d competing in the Tuner Grand Prix at donnington, we won the deisel class with quite a margin and also did very well against some of the petrol classes. The car was running for the day approx 315bhp with 480lb ft torque. Next years event is promising to be much bigger...

How is it possible to go from 218Hp to 315Hp only with a superchip?
Do you have any figures with the 315Hp? 0-60.....
How much Nm is that torque of 480lb ft?

The car normally runs a superchip map of 275bhp 460lb ft torque, the map was specially written by superchips just for this event, long term use of this map would be harmfull to the car. The standard map has been on the car for 20,000 miles with no problems. The car also has a K&N relacement filter and Remus Exhuast

Hey Gav, how much You think these "harware" mod's have efect? Some time ahead and warranty will be over and maybe then some increase will be in place in my car too!

Can You post some pictures about that Remus? Filter, I believe, is only cartirigge? If it's so, is it specially for e60? Maybe part number?

Holy smoke, we want to hear more!

It would be nice to see a drag between that 530d ( with 275 bhp) and the stock 535d. How much is 460lg ft in NM? Is there a relationship between lb ft and NM? Thanx

This is what I found : 1 lb/ft = 1.35582 Nm So 460lbFt would be 623.7Nm , thats a lot of torque !

The air filter is a K&N direct replacement, their listed on their website, I will post some pics of the remus later.
As to how Superchips got that much power I'm not sure, the car has now been mapped back to standard superchip of 275bhp but I will see if Superchips have any data I can post.
With regard to draging a standard 535d with my car I think mine has more torque but the 535d will spool up quicker, any 535d owners fancy teseting this.
Next year it would be nice to get a Superchipped 535d running in the Tunergp.
