So one day I see a MTECH rear bumper on ebay and immediately jump on the deal.. When I received the bumper, I am not sure if i am looking at the bumper right,, but the PDC holes look bigger than my existing sensors..

I measure the holes on the bumper against my sensor it measures 23mm.. size seems pretty close but can't tell whether the deal I jumped on is the right bumper.. I contacted the dealer and they informed me therer are two diff sizes LCI and PRE LCI models..

before taking the car to the body shop for install how can I confirm whether this bumper indeed is the correct one??

Do you have an LCI? what did the seller say they sent you?

I think the newer LCI PDC sensors are smaller than the older ones. However that bumper looks like it's missing the brackets that hold the PDC sensors. I have an unmounted m-tech in the garage I will have to look at it in the morning.

Did anything ever come of this? I just realized the Mtech rear bumper I got is missing the brackets that hold the PDC sensors and am trying to figure out what to do. BMW says they do not sell the Mtech brackets seperately and the standard bumper brackets do not match because they are too small and do not have the "ring" on the bracket that runs along the outside of the sensor and makes the sensor go flush with the bumper.

Any ideas on what I can do?

find a trashed bumper to take the pdc brackets off. or maybe take trhe ones off the bumper you're going to change. it might be more hassle than its worth though.
i wonder what else you're missing. did you get the mtech bumper side and rear supports?

I have the standard bumper brackets. The problem is that the bracket from the standard E60 bumper does not work on the Mtech, its hole on the bumper side is too small since the Mtech holes are much larger than the standard.

I have all of the other proper parts. The bumper is actually currently installed on my car. I just have four gaping holes on it as I wait to find the right part for the PDC.

My next move is to try and use M6 brackets, they do sell those. M6 uses same sensor as E60 and the design of the hole is the same but the hole is 3/16" in diameter larger, so I would have to make the holes on my bumper a little bigger to fit them. Do not want to do that but if that is my only choice I guess I do not have an option.
