i really want the M tech kit but i dont really like the rear bumper much the way it curves upward just seems weird on a sharp lined car, i prefer my stock rear bumper.
have any of you seen any pix of a e60 with the M tech bumper and skirts with the stock rear bumper? did it look ok?
i tried looking at a picture of the M tech front bumper compared to the M5 front bumper and i cant really see a huge difference other than its slightly wider to match up with the wider M5 fenders, am i missing anything here?

I hope it will look good! My m-tech skirts should be on the way soon. I plan to get the bumper eventually, but I couldn't wait for the skirts...they really make for a more agressive look.

My Ride: 2008 535xi -- took delivery January 24th, 2008 -- Space Gray w/black dakota leather interior and Bamboo Anthracite wood trim, Sport Package / Premium Package / Cold Weather Package / Logic7 / Bluetooth / IPOD / NAV / 18" Star Spoke 124s...BUT I could not resist the M Aero Kit, tinting the windows and adding front/rear blacked-out Roundels
This was a long debate for my newest addition...I spent hours looking at my 2004 530i stock rear and thought just like you...I went all the way, I have not looked back since....I believe that there is a member from Sweeden that has done what you suggest. I will try to see if I can find his post. I remember a post talking about the spacing issues with the front bumper that he had created. One way or the other...enjoy!!!

Personally, I don't like them... even with an M5 rear. The reason I have not installed a splitter on my E60 is because I think it disrupts the flow of the car with the stock rear bumper. The way my ride is setup right now, the lines are clean.
