I have color car Silver Gray and ordering my MTECH BodyKit OEM
Should I keep the DIFFUSER same color as the car OR painted MATTE BLACK or Glossy Black?
What is your expert suggestions?
This guy painted his car MATTE Black but hard to see from distance if look nice or not?

It reminds me alot of the GTO's rear where it was painted black or a kind of gray. Not sure I like it on a 5 though. Maybe some more pics of it up close would be better.

Well, it looks like you have some support there, but I just don't like it. I like the idea of having a different colored diffuser, I just don't know if your car color and black do it. Diffuser as the same color looks great though.

I would say get a spare diffuser from the scrap yard or ebay,
paint it in matte black and put it on, if you dont like it, take it off and put the original back

I wrapped my diffuser in carbonfibre foil, not the cheap one, but the expensive one from 3M, it looks stunning, but it's a hell of a work to do it.
You can also buy a diffuser in real carbon, that makes the car look classy

I too have thought long and hard about this, and I think it comes down to a couple different things.
a) do you have any other matte/gloss black parts on the car?
b) what color are your wheels?
I also have a silver grey 5er, and once I get my Mtech kit I'm definitely going to paint it. I have the matte black badges, grilles, exhaust tips, and gloss black and white BMW roundels. Before I get the Mtech kit, I'm hoping to also have some black wheels. I think all of it would come together nicely.
My vote is to "Paint it Black". lol

i really like the look of black diffusers and splitters. I think they look best on grey and white cars. I say paint it MATTE black. I typically like gloss black but not when it comes to diffusers. Unless of course you have gloss black badges and maybe a gloss black roof to go with it.
