MP3 Support Upgrade?

My Ride: 2005 530d M Sport, Carbon Black, Black half leather
Hey guys, had a quick search and no job (perhaps i cant spell)
Basicly my car doesnt have MP3 support but i do have a CDC.. I went to BMW to ask how much they wanted to do the update and they said ?240 (Thats $332USD) and to be honest.. i think thats way over priced!
Is there any other way to get MP3 support added to my car without a main dealer?

Do you have nav?Whats the build month and year? you might not be able to get mp3. as far as i know only car build after 03/05 are able to get mp3 retrofited. try contacting a shop that has Autologic, they should be able to do the retrofit.

What are you trying to do? you just want to be able to play mp3 or want to retrofit the ipod interface?

Yeah eventually I want to retrofit an ipod interface. So i guess the key is mp3 enable and then install will be plug and play
We need to know build year and month of your car, nav? work on a signature, its easier for us to help you with one.

I want MP3 cd support.
And starpup... mp3 support does not activate ipod. and no you dont need mp3 support for ipod support

unless your car is build after 03/05 you wont have mp3 support.
