Woohoo! I'm gonna get one for my Rieger kit. I cant stand the front plate but I need it in NYC. So in order to look nice and keep myself within legal limits, I bought the motorized retractable license plate bracket. And after searching for this piece of plastic and motor that costs at most $30 to make, I managed to find one for a decent deal. And guess where I found it??? Summit Racing! LOL

I used source code 2RETYV and gave me 10% off. Total came out to $129.30 shipped. I accidentally used my paypal balance I wanna see if I can rack up to 100,000 points by the end of this year!!! Oh well.

Comes with a key fob to remotely hide or reveal the license plate.

I've been wanting to get that, but even though its in, you still see a little bit of it. You think I can figure out a way to hide it into the mesh grill? Might be a way right? like line it up right below the kidney grills or something and have it slide out from there. that would be hot.

i had one of that, but it scrapes my driveway as i enter. There's two wires, one goes to the battery the other goes to a ground, it's a very simple install. if anyone is interested i have one for sale. I had it on for a day and took it off, can be yours for $99 shipped.

i dont get it-if you have to have a visible front plate-then how will making something to hide the plate under the car make sense-why dont you just take it off with your hands permanently instead-so when would you hit the button-if pulled over-

Why dont you just carry the plate in your car and when pulled over say your front bracket broke and your in process of getting one

That doesn't work all the time. Some ball busting cops would still write you a ticket regardless.
