I have a 2005 525i. It has the premium package, cold weather package, and the Xenon lights. At low RPM's it is a little sluggish, which improves with it in sport mode. Is there a chip or other mod out there that can add some more horsepower? Any advise would be great. Thanks

that is possibly a sw related problem. a lot of us are a lot happier with the transmission after the sw update. i used to drive with ds mode 95% of the time but after the sw update, it's the other way around .

If you don't mind me asking, which software version? 16.2 or 17.1?

try http://www.powerchipgroup.com/index.asp

I know a few people with it and they LOVE it... but that was for the E39 M5... but if they're good they're good.... on a E60 525 or a E39 M5.

I afraid that the chips doesn't work for cars without a turbo. You might get a few hp extra with a chip and change of the exhaust system but it is not worth it!
