Yep, I'd do chip tuning if I want to mod the engine first, or if I have some big bucks available let specialists like Hamann or ACS do some hardware tuning on my engine. But those "boxes" I'd never touch. :nono:

A chiptuning company like Wetterauer, or others, I don't want to name them all so I take the one I trust the most, is modifying the chip just enough to have the best possible result and they don't go too far with it. But when I hear "it reduces the fuel consumption" and "it's good for the environment since it reduces the pollution", well, all I can say is: BS/bogus/fake/scam... When those "marketing phrases" words are used, don't touch it.

As Iceman said, I never touch two kinda boxes:

1 cigarettes
2 black boxes :devil: G-Power, ACS has that and you can unplug when you take it for service, thou' they will detect the ex-presence of the system from read-outs...but on the long run they ***** the engine up. :whistle:
