Thumbs up

OK guys (and gals),

I've read as many postings as I possibly can and have assembled my list of upgrades. I'm already over budget, but haven't really shopped for price yet. Please take a look at my list and either validate my choices, or give me some ideas on other considerations. I really appreciate your help. If anyone selling goods looks at this list and can offer a package deal on most of this... I'm listening!

2008 BMW 535xi
Dinan Stage 2 Performance Upgrade; Part # D900-30T $2,200
Sprint Booster $300
M Rear Deck Spoiler for 5 Series Part no: 51 62 8 040 054 $230
Adhesive Tape Part no: 51 62 8 040 053 $15

BBS Wheels & Tires $3,268
Wheel Stud Locks; Part no: 36 13 6 776 073 $50
BMW M-tech Complete Body Kit (painted Platinum Gray) $2,399

$8,462

Regarding my wheels/tires: I like the BBS AIR II CK Bright Sat w/Polished Stainless lip, but can't afford those. Based on what I can afford, I've narrowed my search to either the BBS CH w/Bright Silver Paint, or VMR VB3's Super Silver. Obviously the BBS wheels are more expensive than the VMR's. The BBS's are made in Germany and the VMR's appear to be made in Korea. I'm also trying to figure out whether to go with the 18" or 19" wheel. Again, this will be my daily driver. I will go with a Max Performance all season tire on it. Although I have a pair of stock 143 wheels with winter tires, we still do get our fair share of wet weather year round. I noticed that the staggered BBS wheels on the 18's would be 8.5" in the front and 10" in the back, and the 19's would be 8.5" in the front and 9.5" in the back. If anyone on here has some thoughts on this, please let me know.

Instead of the M-Tech kit, I can't afford all of the pieces, but I'm thinking of going with the AC Schnitzer Front Lip Spoiler and matching side skirts. I love that look.

Forget the last thought... found out that AC doesn't make the front spoiler for the 535xi yet. I guess I'm back to the M-Tech kit.

VMR CSL's or V710's, period...and save about $1200 over the BBS (that need bub-rings to boot).

+1 for those wheels and an M-tech kit...aside from dinan...look into juice box 3 (jb 3, plug and play version $629) as well. It's not covered under warranty..but haven't seen too many problems with it..and you would be able to take in/out pretty easy before taking into service..

Thanks... I have been looking at the V710's. Have you seen the V715's? It's got a deeper lip. I'm not sure about the offset though. Where have you guys found the best deal on your V710's? Thanks!
