My Ride: 2005 E60 BMW 525i - BIRTHDAY- 11/04 - EXTERIOR- Amethyst Gray Metallic. INTERIOR- Beige Dakota Leather w/Dark Poplar Grain Wood. OPTIONS- Automatic Transmission, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, 6-disc CD changer, Bluetooth using Verizon Raza V3c phone, SIRIUS Satellite Radio. ADD-ON's- 545i Chrome Grill, Euro Red Reflectors, Factory all-weater matts & Factory Coat-Hanger.

Hi just a question... What mod's are out there to get a little more power off the line for 525 w/out being THAT expensive and won't void bmw warrenty? Just sitting here thinking out loud...

You can probably add an aftermarket air filter, usually good for 3-5hp. But nothing you can really "feel".

Now if you don't mind voiding your warranty...

On N/A engines, the simple bolt on mods will not do much. The price/horsepower ratio is not worth it. Turbocharged engines are a total different story.

My Ride: 2004 545i 6spd, blk on blk, HRE 540R 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear with Pirelli PZero Neros 245/25/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. H&R springs, and Eisenmann quad exhaust, V! radar detector, black grille, limo tint all around.

It's not worth your money... I've thought about it in the past but it's too expensive for what you get out of it. However, there really isn't much available on the market in regards to aftermarket mods for the e60... I'm waiting for companies like rogue engineering to come out with pulleys or gruppe m with a cai.
