Hey guys,

I am currently trying to work with Velocity to make CSL wheels in your fitments. I am trying to do this for all 5 series guys, since they currently don't have anything to offer you guys in a specific fitment.

Currently velocity doesn't offer a offset that is ideal for your fronts, I am trying to work on getting this changed, so you won't have to run any spacers at all.

Only thing is, I am trying to find a median, or ideal offset/fitment for you guys, that is both aggressive, but not too aggressive where it will cuase you to rub.

The sizes that will be available will be 19x8.5 and 19x9.5s, in the new offsets, depending on what kind of feedback i get back from you guys.

The wheels will come with hubcentric rings and everything, so it will be a direct fitment bolt on, no spacers required.

So comments/suggestions/etc would be great.

thanks.

IMO, the ideal offset for a 19x8.5 wheel is 12mm for the e60. These can be outfitted with 245/35/19 tires. This setup will never rub even if lowered on H&R Sport springs. The offsets I recommended also happen to be the same as the OEM 166 wheels. I use to have the setup just described. It was perfect.

In my opinion, best fitment for front and rears, assuming the standard tyre upgrade of 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 is used, will be 8.5x19 ET15 and 9.5x19 ET15
These will be right on the edge, but still not require you to do any archwork (fender) to avoid rubbing.
Guess these wheels will look pretty good on the car

If I cuold get like 10-15 guys interested in this, and put a small deposit down (something like $200-250), then I could get a production run going that will be made in that offset.

Let me know.

thanks for the feedback guys.

You watch your tone!

These wheels work perfect for the "xi" models, due to our high offset. As for any issues with them....can you say, NONE! They are flawless, perfect and have held up really well thus far. I get compliments all the time on how clean the look is. Keep in mind that mine are Hyper Silver, which was a limited edition color. It has a black, metallic coat underneath the final silver coats. It gives off a black hue from certain angles. I think the only colors they come in now are Silver and Hyper Black. Correct me if I'm wrong Don...

Oh, and if you want to go with something on the feminine side, go with the wheels that Vegastrashed has.
