Looks good, i might have to look into some of these for myself. I love Hamann style wheels.
As for your questions:
1. That's the speed limit notifier. You can set this to a determined speed via your iDrive. You can turn it off as well, that's what I do. I can't remember off hand where it is in the iDrive. I'll check in a few minutes and tell you.
2. Yup, you have to reset the TPMS. This is fairly easy, you have to go into the iDrive again and reset it (after you've checked that all your tires are aired up), then you need to drive around for a couple of minutes and it will reset. If you don't drive around it will just sit there saying it is trying to reset. I did this after I had a tire replaced and it took me a while to figure out that I need to drive around

^^^Agreed +1
The wheels look good and unique. Dare to be different.
Anyway, perhaps the tranny reset would help the speedometer as well? Anyone know?
The suggestion Kaiten made are dead on, you can reset he speed limit and tire pressure in your iDrive.

When you first posted about these wheels I thought hmm, not going to look right on the E60 (like others brings back memories from the E39 days). But I have to say, they look awesome!! I might consider these in 20" myself?
As for your tire pressure issue - nobody mentioned the first step. Did your tire shop actually put the tire pressure sensors on the new wheels??? I'd call and ask if your new wheels have the sensors - otherwise they'll need to be installed, or you'll have to live with the warning. I have a strong feeling the speed limiter warning is directly correlated to this (I'm sure you would remember if you went into iDrive and set your limit). Either way just go in there and double check you or someone else did not set it. Get your owners manual out and read how to reset the tire pressure and speed limiter. It's definetely one of the options in your iDrive menu.
