I just bought an 07 530xi. Got it tinted with 28% ceramics. Next project is to replace the grille (mostly because it is cracked), get shadowline for the crome around the windows, and replace the sidemarkers with the led ones from bimmian. Based on my paint color should I go with glossy black or matter black with the shadowline/grille? Also, would the side lens look better clear or smoked (I'm not planning on smoking out anything else)? Thanks for the opinions/advice, haven't seen any of these mods in person so it is hard to decide which to go with. Thanks.

I went matte black on the grill and trim to match the pillars. Also did matte black calipers and wheel hubs.
Clear amber side markers since I didn't smoke the heads or tails out to keep things consistent.

Black roof, it looks nice on the silver cars too.

Gloss black shadowline and gloss black grille...that will also blend nice with gloss black roof.

+1 for the black roof and glossy shadowline+grille! Even if you are not feeling the black roof I would go for gloss black for the rest. Makes it a bit more classy. The matte black is more if you are planning on tuning the car more agressively and sporty.

I'm liking this idea a lot. Now just need to find someone in Conneecticut that can do some good work. I'm sure I could do it myself, but I'd be to hard on myself for every little perfection.

There's always the option to color-match your grill trim too!
