On my home tonight - turned off my music, rolled down my windows, and listened to the music of my B&B exhaust. It sounds so nice....makes my car sound like the beast it is. The shifting of my SMG along with the deep tone of my exhaust just puts a smile on my face. For all those who don't have one, go get one.

And I am happy with the subdued Remus.

Do you notice any performance increase?

My 545i surely sounds faster/quicker but I'm sure that's just an illusion. I can't conceive of any performance decrease but I'm sure that any performance increase would be negligible at best (unless it's the Borla "Full" cat back system - and even that may be negligible).

Can these exhausts be installed on 525's? I'm itching to get one.

Is a B&B louder than a Eisenmann exhaust?

That depends...
There are 3 levels of 'sound volume' you can choose from with the Eisenmann.

I went with the quietest because I understood fm my retailer that the loudest version is really dominant both in- and outside the car and since I have regularly bizz relations driving with me, I played safe.

My PDA has a microphone/sound recorder built in. I was wondering how hard it would be for those of you that also have a digital sound recorder to record and post an audio file of your exhaust note. I think it would be a very helpful tool.
