does anyone have one of these installed? I'm looking for a cheap but good looking and sounding muffler (full exhaust is out of my budget, but want something aggressive sounding). I don't really care about any performance (as long as it does not decrease my performance haha)....also what kind of tips would look good on our cars?

here is the link btw
https://www.trinityautosport.com/merchantma...products_id=200

Thanks, also any sound clips would be very helpful!

i saw some threads a bit back that showed that unless you do good piping ALL magnaflow mufflers decrease HP

dunno how much truth there is to that being as that there was no dyno to prove it

hmmm so no definitive answers? I would think sponsors should know the answer to this...otherwise they shouldn't be selling the product at least IMHO...

i have bought the 14816 magnaflows from Trinity, good service like always. I did not notice a decrease in HP, supposedly you lose some low end and gain more on the top end due to the straight pipe. I did not do quads because that for sure losses HP. The fit perfect with the mtech kit because the gap is bigger so stock tips look tiny. Hope this helps

how does it sound? Can you compare it to anything/maybe a sound clip?
Why does a straight pipe muffler hurt hp? I'm sorry just trying to understand everything...thanks for the help
