I'm looking at Avant Garde M310's for my Platinum Gray 535xi. Was set on hyper silver, but just saw an ad for "Gunmetal w/Machined Face" that look pretty sweet. I'm not sure I know what "machined" face looks like in person. How does it compare to hyper silver? Thoughts and opinions please?

I think it depends on your car color and your preference. For me personally, I prefer some contrast between my jet black and the wheels so I would have to go with hyper silver but although I was digging the machined face matte black look of the Monza. Since you have platinum gray, I think gunmetal would complement it nicely.

I wish I could see them in person, because I'm not I know what a machined face looks like. Should I assume that the insides of the wheel are gunmetal (darker), but the face is silver/metal looking? It's hard to just go by the picture (below). Has anyone seen these in person?

polish stainless steel except it's not as shinny and bright as hyper silver but not painted silver like the OEM wheels either...I guess that's the best I can describe it to you. Just stop by any wheel shop or those tires shop, they should have some samples of machine face finish for you to see.

I think lots of large wheel retailers would have popular models such as these on display.

The Miro 111 is hyper silver with a machined face.
I'm considering this wheel for my car.
It's a popular wheel and you have probably seen it but here's a photo.
