Any opinions on the replicas M6 wheels with XI offsets? Thinking of getting replicas. Any one do this setup on a XI? I have coils so it would be tucked nicely. I have style 128's but looking for a new OEM look. in 19's maybe 20's max

Heres them in 20's
Looks CLEAN .. what finish ?

I've been on it like forever ... almost 4 years & 36K+ miles on my Miro ...
Been happy w/ no problem so far. Not sure if the high/big offset is available in 20".
I'm gonna go up to 285/30 for the rear on my next tire set soon instead of adding spacer.

Click the pic on my sig below for few additional older photos.

That looks nice.

I was interested in going 20's on my XI

Not sure what tire sizes I can pull though, wondering what other members did in 20 inch tires. Im guessing 255/30/20 front and 285/25/20 front

Ahhh they do have high/big offset on their 20" ... but I don't think those are Miro brand.
You might wanna check around for the quality of 'other' brand, I've heard that Miro branded M6 rep seems to be the best.
Not sure 'bout 20" tire size myself but aren't they going w/ 35/30 for additional sidewall protection?

I got my 19" CSL reps from this place but here's a link to their 20" page: http://www.oemwheelsplus.com/bmw/20-wheels.html

I've smacked a couple of potholes on I-95 in CT and NYC with them that were so bone jarring that I thought they would've snapped, but no bends or cracks so I'm pretty happy with them. But, they were great to work with and I got these staggered, wrapped in the typical Hankooks w/TPMS, balanced, shipped and ready to put on for under $2k. They're running a up to 15% off store wide now and free shipping, so they might be worth looking into.

I understand that Miro has great durability. I had 111's and they were tanks in 19's. I smacked the shit outta them and they were fine.

I see the link. For 819$ for 4 20's makes me think that durability would be an issue.

I have KW coilovers so I know I can adjust the suspension to sit nicely with 20's. I just don't want to crack the rims easily, not sure. The miros do not come in 20's do they?

And I talked to Miro the other day they are coming out with XI offsets for 20's on the 111's! HMMM

Not sure about the m6 reps

Any one know the tire sizes that are correct for XI?

Calculator says 255/30/20 in front and 295/25/20 in rear.

I hear ya there...but I've also heard horror stories on Miros as well...pick of the litter I guess. But, like I said, these have been completely fine and I'm a little baffled that they haven't bent or cracked with a couple of the potholes I've hit, so until I can swing some real forged wheels, these are fine for now.

But as far as size, I have 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in the rear...from what I see, and I may be wrong, it looks like 245/30/20 for fronts and 285/25/20 for rears are a more even match to those and the 19s are factory size recommended. Although, I do wish I went with 285/30/19 in the rear as they seem to be a better match for the fronts...nonetheless, I did a bunch of shopping around on a budget, and this place came recommended to me from a bunch of outside sources.

I am picking up a 2008 535xi tonight and very excited. Although i need to replace the wheels asap. I found these wheels they are from a 2008 535i.

I am not sure if i should buy them as i dont know if they are going to fit.

what i know is that my car has the stock 17in wheels and the ones I want to buy are:

2008 BMW 18" rims and Dunlop Tires(245/40 R18).

Will these fit on my car and if not what do i need to do to make them fit. The dealership is not very helpful.

Please help. Dont make me drive the car with the stock wheels

Offsets buddy, find out the offsets. Probably not. They are probably 20 offsets.

So anyway, I guess 20's won't make a difference since its tougher on a XI and the tire sizes to buy are really expensive probably. Maybe I should just stick to 19's. I think I only wanted the M6 Reps in 20's though. Not sure

You are correct, the offsets from a 535i will not fit an xi. Here's a great thread on wheel sizes and suspensions for our XI's though if you guys haven't seen it: https://5series.net/forums/topic/951...nsions-for-xi/
Lots of great info in there!

But, as for the 20's vs. 19's...I came sooooo close to going the 20's route, but the roads I travel a lot do suck so I didn't really want to take the chance on bending/cracking a wheel. Now that said, there's a big difference in feel from 17's to the 19's and I'm glad I stuck with 19's as you can feel every bump in comparison to the 17's, and I think I may have been put out with 20's by compromising the ride quality that much.
