Naw, these can be had w/o tires for around $1700 (w/ shipping) GENUINE OEM. $3200 seems kind of high to me and is probably full retail. Try ebay.com, they had a set of genuine M5 wheels for $1599. The auction has ended, but if you contact the seller, they may sell you a set for that much.

Look at the link EBMCS03 pasted up there for the ebay link.

You could order from the dealer in Hong Kong. It will cost around HK$ 5500 per wheel. Front is less expensive. Maybe a few hundred different. When will your new car arrive? You have cancelled the order of the GTI?

They are original M5 wheel which could be available in one or 2 weeks times. Initially, I am interested but I go for other 19" wheel already. The 19" wheel and tire are even more comfortable than the original 17" runflat tire. I recommended that you could use Michelin PS2. I used this tire for both my A6 and 530. It is comfortable and good handling. If you are really demanding, you may need lowering spring, spacer or even shock. To go further, spoiler, tint, .........etc.

What is the colour of your car? Is it Black, my guess?!

I am sure that you will enjoy this car.

By the way, GTI is a fun car and I enjoy very much.

Your are right, my 530i is black

I definately will go for PS 2. Have you got M-teh kit?

I will change rims and install the kit first. Do you think Yellow Hill can get orginal M5 rims? The they can install spacer, and I can give the orginal rims to my friend.

I will not instal the M tech kit in view of the waiting period of six month(tax reason). Yellow Hill may get the M5 rim and you better check with them. I think that most of the M5 parts should be available when your car is ready (year end). Yellow Hill can prepare some custom made spacer for your wheel.

You may wait until the end of November to check for those rim and accessories. By that time, the price of those rims or accessories may be reduced.

I have go through this process already and I will stop to buy any extra option.NO more.

Good luck
