M5 WHEELS
#1
i have noticed a lot of atention being placed on the new M5 wheels. Whether this is true or simply just me paying a lot of atention to them i dont know, but either way im starting this topic. I have a cuple questions and i figured theyd be easier to answer if i put them in bullet form so here we go...
1) will they fit a 545...... im almost positive they do but if they dont then there is no need to answer any of the following questions
2) Will those unfortunate few who live in the US and dont speak German be able to get them ever.... and if so will it be the dealer or some wheel shop selling them online....
3) When will they be available?
4) Why do i want them so bad and why do i think they look so damn good!
okay well for those beemer geeks i figured u could give me a helping hand and im sure a lot of people are wondering the same thing.... After seing that olivine green 5 with the M wheels i alsmost.... well i almost had an accident in my pants
okay thanks in advance

We like them.. I think we just have to wait for them (that is, the M5 itself) to become available in the U.S. before we can really figure out if they work or not -- just like the trunk add-on piece and side mirrors.

The rear will fit no problem but the fronts are 8,5 ET 12. The following example is compared to Lomag's new front spacers 8.0 ET 10.
The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 8mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 4mm
Lomag is there an extra 4mm in the fender well at full lock? You were saying its kind of tight.

really ugly without sportsuspension IMHO .
If these are 18" be carefull as they are aftermarket "no-name" brand rims.
BTW 19" is also available from such no name brands too.
So if these are sold as genuine BMW M-Sports don't burn your fingers !!!
