Has anyone ever tried retrofitting a M5 sway bar setup? According to the specs, it seems that the M5 sways are pretty good compared to the H&Rs and ACS sways.
For those who have tried- did it fit perfectly?
Thanks
Here's the post with the diff sway bar specs:
sways
ACS
Front 25mm
Rear 19mm

FYI- I just purchased some M5 sways off of a M5 owner for $180. It was $300 less than the other sways I was looking at and the dimensions seemed to be similar to me.
I'll let you guys know how it goes.

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front.
Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.
$180 for a front and rear M5 sway? that's a great deal
i paid $400 for my H&R sways...
please let us know how it goes. how heavy is the M5 bars compare to your OEM bars?
the front of the H&R is just a tad thicker, but at least twice as heavy.
also, don't need to pay big bucks for install, all the performance store quotes over $200 for install, just go to any garage shop and it should just be 1 hour of labor for both front and rear. i watched the guy did it, and if i can jack my car up 5 ft in air i could have DIY.

I got my sway bars installed over the weekend. They make a noticeable difference. They are definitely thicker and heavier than stock. Only H&R sways are heavier or thicker.
I installed:
Sport Struts
H&R Spacers
Front and Rear sways
Total: $360 (includes cost of spacers)
Pretty good deal. They also powdercoat and repair wheels at this shop (TWS).
