MY530i- I would like to know whether the Steptronic Paddle Shifters would be compatible on a 530xi? This would be a fun option to have on my recently ordered 530xi. Also any warranty voids if installed? Finally, do you have the instructions online somewhere with step by step pics?

Yes. But my kit was totally developed by me. I did not bought other kid and copy.

Once you have this installed, you'd never want to live without paddle shifters. It's so much fun.
This works on 530xi that you have. Warranty cannot only be void if dealer proves that the mod cause the warranty claim.
I have instruction for installation on DVD which includes with the kit showing step by steps.

You can put the M5 SMG paddles on both the 3 spoke sport wheel and the 3 spoke M-Sport/M5 wheel with the thumb rests. HOBI has installed his kit on Kigerka's SMG car with the regular sport wheel (see picture below). I also bought HOBI's wiring harness from him last summer and I had already bought an M5 steering wheel with the M5 paddles from eBay, but to this day I still have not had time to install it on my 545i SMG.
