Have a penny-like indent in my rear bumper.. , got a quote from a locatal Ontario BMW and BENZ recommended bodyshop and he said 660.00 CAN to paint the rear bumper. Because the dealer in my city does not have a body shop they use this guy.

Another BMW dealer in Toronto,Ontario (2 Hours away) gave me a quote for 300.00.

What the...

Anyone have any BMW re-painted bumper quotes?

Thanks for the check

Well with painting you get what you pay for. Quality work and attention to detail cost more. I would see what the quality of work is for both of them before I went to either.

I actually pay more at one shop here because I know its going to be perfect and they always do favors for me.

So find out what the actual quality is before taking your bumper there.

Actually now that i see its just an indent, go to a PDR place first and see if they can pull it.

I think $300 is pretty fair for a good paint job.

+ 1 ... saving $50 and getting a poor job is not worth it.

I also suggest asking if the dealer / repair shop will remove the bumper to paint it ... that way the possibility of over spray is reduced/eliminated!
