My Ride: 530xi 2007 !!!
Default

One week ago I installed my Mtech kit !!! which i love !!!! I also purchase a set of OEM m5 rims for my 530xi 2007. I try installing them with the tires that it come with which was front 255/40 19 rear 285/35 19 , the rear fit perfect but every time I pass a bump it rub. The front one didn't fit at all they rub every where. I got a little frustrated because I really like this rims so I switch my rear tires to 255/40 19 and I purchase new tires for the front 235/35 19 and their only rub when I turn the steering wheel all the way. I had to take off the m5 wheels and put back my factory rims =(.
I don't know what to do so should sell the OEM m5 and move on or try to trade them for the style 172 or and other opinion ???

Problem is you have an Xi model, the offsets are completely wrong for M5 wheels. Sorry to break the news, but they will never fit.

You should cut your losses and send them to me.

Seriously, I am sorry that you have these cool rims and can't use them. I'm sure you'll be able to sell them on and find something that you like that fits. Those Miro 111's would be my choice.

I feel your pain, but there is a solution! I have the same make and model as you, and I'm driving on Style 166 wheels.

Sell your OEMs and go to http://www.oemwheelsplus.com/bmw/19-...heels-set.html Yeah, they're replicas, but with an xi, that's the only choice you have for the 166 look. I purchased these about a year and a half ago, and love them. Just wish they weren't so @#$%^ hard to keep clean!

That sucks sry to hear the xi model wheel offset should be 35 or so. Normal models in the e60 have an offset of around 20

Sorry, but factory 172's won't work either. Ran in to that problem when I was selling my 172's and was receiving a lot of interest from Xi owners

Okay, so ya don't want replicas I take it. If you still want OEM, and you liked the M5 look, you can get Style 135 M Double Spoke wheels in an xi offset (Part # 36118036944).
