Hi.

I have a 2006 525i and it has the normal stock mirrors which fold in manually

My question was, what website or were on the net can I find the M5 mirrors that fold upward automatically for my car?

Maybe an M5 style one that could be cheaper?

Thanks in advance!!

The fold function will not work on your model year. Only the LCI's (08+) and M5's have this feature.

I have an 08 and changed my mirrors to the M5 mirror (at the dealer), and I lost the fold function that came with my stock mirrors. It didn't matter to me because the mirrors look so much better than the stock ones. Didn't know they weren't going to fold till after they were installed, and by that point had already purchased and paid for them to be painted so no turning back!!

It should work if you had the function previously. Maybe your installer didn't hook up the wiring correctly?

Its possible the mirrors you bought might not have fold function in them. Some M5 mirrors are able to fold, Oddly enough.
