Is it possible to install a M5/M6 Dinan Brake Kit on a regular E60? I believe the rear rotor for the M5 kit is 380mm instead of 345mm on 550i kit. Any problem installing the M5 one instead of the regular 550i one?

Thanks

M5 kit 380mm no issue, can direct put in but make sure your wheel in 19" or above.

Cool, thanks. I wonder why Dinan just develop one kit for all E60 (including M5).

Hold on guys. The stock M5 brakes are 14.7" (~373mm) in the fronts and 14.6" (~371mm) rears. The Dinan (by Brembo) brakes are 15" (380mm) so even though you can fit the stock M5 brakes on a regular E60 (with minor modifications) you might not be able to fit the Dinan ones.

Also, diameter of the wheels isn't the only thing to worry about. Offsets and back padding are important factors too. Even 20" wheels need to be specifically machined to clear big brake kits.

The M5 Brembo/Dinan are 380x34mm the Non M5 are 380x32...And I saw that the have a 405mm for both applications! Make sure to measure...key number is at least 17.6 inches of inner barrel diameter of your wheels, then there is the curve of the caliper and that plays into the inner barrel clearance.

I looked up the part number on Dinan's site and it's for an M6. Over $7400 new. Awesome deal if it sells for $2K-$3K.
