M5 Gear Knob on SMG cars DONE

Hi All

Just to let you know that Kigerka's car now has the M5 gear knob retrofitted to his SMG car.

We did the modification on Sunday at the Dutch Maastrict meet (specifically, Andy545's house).

I'm sure you'll want to see pictures of the mod and a full write-up, and Kigerka will post it very soon

It goes without saying that the connectors and wiring used are all BMW original parts...

It didn't cost that much. I paid ?135.00 for the shifter. Not much at all. Cheaper then the paddles. I will post pics later this evening. It looks outstanding in my opinion

Hi

Afraid not because of the shiftlock function on the steptronic box. The M5 gear knob does not have the shiftlock release button on it. Also, the metal shaft is different....
