I recently got into an accident in my 530xi :/. I just checked out this autobody shop Impressive Auto Center (http://www.impressiveautocenter.com/) in Maspeth. Insurance is going to pay for everything hopefully. One of the dude's that worked there has a m5 front bumper for sale. Atleast I get something good out of it lol. I just want to know if there is a difference between the oem and replica? I don't have to pay for the painting if I get it, but I want to put a splitter in that picture on it. Thanks.

with replica: the bumper will fit good/flush with you stock non M5 fenders. But your choices of splitters are limited as most splitters only fit the OEM M5 bumper....I do know that Umniza offers a splitter that fits their rep M5 bumper...

with an OEM M5 bumper, there will be a slight gap from the bumper to fender, since M5 fenders are wider than non M5 fenders. Some modifications, shaving can be done to minimize the gap, but it won't completely sit flush....a quick search will get you a few more topics and pics of an M5 bumper with non M5 fenders installed.....

The m5 bumper does not look that bad with the stock fenders. I use to have it that way before I got the m5 fenders just do it.
