My Ride: 2007 M5

Hi, all!
Had this idea the other day to replace my stock E60 fenders with the M5 version (for a number of reasons...).

Could this actually work... - meaning, would it fit? Would you happen to know anyone who has tried (and successfully) installed M5 fenders on a 530? I heard the M5 fenders are wider, which is the main reason I'm interested in trying to realize this mod... if it's feasible.

I'm sure someone else must have had this idea before... right?

Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Armin

Yes you need fenders along with inner liners and front bumper . Bad news it prices around 2g's +- plus shipping (which is oversized), plus paint and install

Im working on doing this right now as well. You will need the OEM M5 Front Bumper and so far for the fender parts list I have the fenders them selves, the fender liners and grills. Im guessing you need the brackets as well but Im not 100% on that.

Thanks for your post, M3This!
As far as I am concerned (and as 525iEnjoy has pointed out in the post above) this is probably too costly a mod for me right now. Don't have $2K sitting around... right now
I'd rather get an M5 front, rear, and a Quad exhaust before I even think of M5 fenders... But, that's just me.

As far as "parts lists" are concerned: have you tried to find anything more at TIS Online or RealOEM.com yet? Maybe, these have the information you're looking for. Chances are, though, that you're already familiar with these sites... right? (..no offense.. :-) )

Good luck with your project! Don't forget to post pictures when you're done!!

Cheers,
Armin
