I am working on an M5 conversion for my E60 (except the V10 offcourse). Already have the body kit, but I was a bit iffy about the fenders. Has anyone installed the Duraflex fenders? If so, did it take a lot of modifying and prep work or was it a paint and mount project? Also how much $ did it run you? And I would also like the same info about the M5 mirrors with auto fold. (I have a 2004 530i with dip mirrors) Thanks for the help guys.

Where do you plan to get your Fenders from? I purchased non-OEM alloy fenders from here:
http://www.schmiedmann.com/5_series/...e8.htm#1934423

I purchased with them as it was the best I could find locally in Sweden. These fit like a glove and I was able to use original M5 air intakes. There are a few on here that just ended up cutting their fenders to get air intakes to fit. I didn't go this route in case I plan on selling the car stock in the future.

As for M5 mirrors, do you really want to go OEM? Many have been very happy with NVD's mirrors found here:
https://5series.net/forums/topic/880...r-lhd-version/

I went with those and purchased it from a reseller in the UK (haven't got them in yet though).

Hey! The fenders that Schmiedmann sells are OEM !
You can order any OEM parts through them.

I wish I could go with those but that site is too pricey for me. Lol. I was thinking of going with the Duraflex brand ones. That's the same brand as my body kit.

It's not like that everywhere in the world (just buy an M5) .
F10 M5 costs around 180 000? here in Finland, and E60 M5 was about the same as new.

Not to rag on you but duraflex is a cheap kit, a cheap brand and cheap overall quality. The M-tech kit is one of the best kits on the market ,truth be told. And as for the fenders you can have your body shop shop guy just cut out inserts on your current ones ( If he is good enough or a pro). Let me know if you have any other questions
