..is there any noticeable increase in performance? Obviously, the M5 has it to be more aerodynamic as well as to look sporty so why not on our non-Ms? I read that there's a duct on the front to cool the brakes on the M5, that's why there's no foglights. Say we were to do the same, and not have foglights on the M-bumper, would it cool our puny little brakes as well?

No, I'd say not any performance increase.

The open-front design of the bumper doesn't allow the intercooler to draw in more air? No brake cooling? Why is that when it does on the M5?

All 5 series have ducts on the front bumper to cool the brakes -you have them too, you can check. So there is no performance gain from adding the M5 bumper to your car. Also, normally aspirated cars (including the M5) do not have an intercooler anyway so I can't imagine that, even if you do have a 535, you'll get added airflow through your intercooler with an M5 bumper - it wasn't designed for that because the M5 has no intercooler.

we have radiators...not intercoolers unless u have the 535. Even with a bigger opening, without a bigger intercooler, it's useless. It will make the car nicer thats it. The Rieger is hawwwt!!
