Hi Guys,

Can someone please confirm for me that BMW E60 M5 brakes fits a non M5. I have got an LCI 530 and sourced M5 barke kit for good price and I am thinking to retrofit them. I have visited few local garages and none of them did it before and they have no ideas if they will fit. So, I thought before I buy it I will ask you guys.

I did a quick searched and found out that few people already did it in this forum, but not sure if it was a plug and play? Does it the same brake pipes too. Because the kit I sourced is missing brake pipes.

Thanks in advance,
Arun

99% plug and play. I have done it and lived it lol. Only real "adjustment" is the rear dust shields you'll need to pry them back. While your there you might as well get some good brake lines cause you gotta take them off, and you will need to do a brake flush. And the rear rotors lose their rotor mounting bolts because the bolt holes dont line up. And the front rotors take 1 smaller mounting bolt I believe. Make sure the M5 brakes are within spec cause the front rotors themselves are 600 for the pair not including pads!

Enjoy your new found stopping power!

You are going to make sure that you have the 18" wheels or there will be clearance issues with the calipers and other hardware.
