im upgrading my brakes to the m5 ones on my 2004 545i. i basiclly have evrything ( no one ever said we needed to change the inside dust shields) lol. just wanted to know if everything else is bolt on

My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. The fronts are direct bolt on, no need to do anything with the dust shields, etc.
The rears, however, you will need new dust shields and note that the grub screw that holds the rear discs on to the hub do not line up at all, but no really problem.
Other than that, superb upgrade. I just tested my M5 brakes (all round) at the Nurburgring a couple of weekends ago and they were superb.
