Is it possible to switch the automatic shift knob to the 08 style or the m5 style? and is it a cheap mod or really expensive?

Ive done the m5 knob its 285 i believe from getbmwparts.com and the retrofit cable from aftermarketbulbshop hes a member here and thats like85-90 bucks its a diy job plus it feels great in your hands when shifting feels like i got 20 more hp lmaoo
