Hey everyone, I'm looking into the style 167 wheels and was wondering if anyone has any pictures of them on a white 5 series. Or if you could just give an opinion on how these wheels would look on a white car, that would be helpful. Thanks

check out my link at the bottom - i have a silver gray car, but have pics of the car with teh 166, 167, 135 etc... my 2 cents, becuase of only 5 spokes, teh 167 look fairly small compared to the 166, but the bi-colour does suit the lighter cars more than the bbs silver of the 166..

otherwise, take care which offset you get - if you get the m5 167, you get offset 28 (you definitely need spacers), otherwise you can get the m6 167 with offset 17, then you can avoid spacers.

Love the photos! I agree, I think the 166s look best. Lots of other members have posted photos w/ 166s but I haven't heard of needing spacers. I just ordered a set for my 550 and now I'm wondering if I need spacers.

Servus, you have 4 sets of wheels? Wow very nice pics and car thx for the link!!!

Indeed the poor M167 looks small while it is the same size, but still 166 looks tougher, but on your beauty the 167s are better IMO.

spacers on the 166 is a must, simply because the offset in the front is so little (12), the front wheels "stick out" a lot more than the rear without spacers. To align the front and the rear, you would need 13 mm spacers. The pics i have of my car with the 166 are with 13 mm spacers in the rear - don't want to even think what they looked like without the spacers...

have fun with the 166...

servus...

thanks - in reality, this car has done 6 sets of alloys (check this out) in the last 9 months i have owned it. i was so disappointed with the 167, i was considering selling them, but now i have got used to it - the bi-colour matches "lighter" cars more than the silver of the 166, in contrast to the darker cars that look amazing with the 166 silver.

cheers rumman

I agree. I only have 10mm spacers. I should've went for a little bigger like 13mm. It's too late now unless someone wants my 3 week old 10mm spacers.
