b) you ask a handy shop to cut it.

6. by mid April Hamann will have a NEW add-on rear for E60s exclusive for ///M rear bumpered E60... a similar like on their red/blue M5. ASAP if I have any pix and permission I post it here don't worry.
7. the quads are normally for looks and it produce around +5kW in performance max.
8. I knew that M5 oem cannot be fitted as the system is totally different, regardless of the space under the car.

If you want the same look, you will have to form a tunnel. You can use a bondo material that is made for plastic/metal. I formed one on my stock apron by cutting out the opening, using banding iron to form the tunnel, then filling with bondo. Following a lot of sanding, you then need to have it painted.
It is a job if you want it to look good.
I did not want to paint my whole rear bumper, so I cut in the tunnel paint at the lip. Up close you can tell but from about 18" back it looks good. I will post pictures when I install my exhaust.

so a local shop did for the dealer who was asked by that car's owner, to be clear.
Find a shop I wud scan the diffuser ask them to do another and "mirroring" the cut with a cutting maschine based on CAD I guess should be no problem, just to be identical, or you aks a oem diffuser sure in oem parts you find the number and cut that install mold sg to be like on the left side and THEN you get the whole thing painted and no probs w visibility...
As I mentioned and Jsal remembered if you wait in April the Germans will come out w sg as on Hamann's E60 M5.
