Ask your insurance to send you a check based on the actual estimate for OEM rear bumper including installation. You might be able to get a whole Mtech set covered. PM Nerweezy at Trinity Autosport for great pricing

actually Mtech cost cheaper than OEM rear bumper
if they send you a check, get Mtech and save extra cash for other mods

if you decide to get OEM, i think you can get it here for really cheap if you dont mind used

+1 for going mtech

That's what my question was too....if you havent seen my thread...the front end of my car got smashed up....I wanna get an M Aero from BMW itself so the bodyshop will do it and since insurance is paying, I have no problem....my question is...since the guy said I could go ask the lady for the M Aero instead of the OEM, will I have to pay a difference or will it be the same and all just come outta insurance???

+100000 for going MTech. It looks so much better and more aggressive than stock IMHO.

If I could do it all over again I'd do mtech rear. I wanted the m5 look so I got the m5 rear and quads. I like the rear alot, however I have been extremly unhappy with my exhaust setup. I've lost power and its too loud from the inside. I should have never messed with the OEM exhaust, lesson learned I guess. I miss the quiet sound.

do you need to replace the fenders as well (front and/or rear)?

or if you buy the upgrade bumpers they already come to fit non-M5 cars?
