Your car looks great, the stock rear end fits in nicely with the M-kit.
If you choose to change the rear bumper I think the sport bumper works
better than the M5 bumper, and you don't have to worry about modding the exhaust.

Any way you go, your car is sweet!!!!!!

Dude,

It looks great! I can't wait to get my kit in too! I am going the same route. The M rear just doesn't do it for me. I am gonna have an ACS guy here in Germany install an ACS rear for me. It won't be cheap and it will have to wait until my wallet recovers from this MOD-binge I have been on. Like you, I have an ACS spoiler I am going to install. Thanks for posting the pictures, the car looks great!

Yes the car is lowered (Eibach Pro) it really tucks the 19"s just right. As for the rear I left it off in the mean time as i dont know whether I want to do quad exhaust, or ad a reiger bumper or not. As for now Im in no hurry on the rear, as you'll notice the M side skirts fin outward and so does the bottom of the stock bumper, so I think for the untrained eye, it looks like they go together. IMHO
+1 its a good look.

You asked IceyTys, but I can tell my story:

- Taking the rear bumper off ~ 30 min
- Installing mounting parts + rear M-tech ~ 50 min
- Taking the front bumper off ~ 120 min (side mountings were TIGHT, didn't want to brake anything)
- Installing mounting parts + front M-tech ~ 180 min (with breaks and again, didn't want to risk anything)
- Taking the side skirts off ~ 30 min
- Installing mounting parts + M-tech sides ~ 30 min
---------------------------------------------------------------------
440 min (5h 40min)

I did it with my brother so there was two people working all the time. It's a must when reinstalling/installing big parts.
I have some pictures of the process and would love to tell more about tricky parts etc if someone needs to know.
I would love to see pics and hear the tricks and time saving tips!

Thanks,
Jake

Use these two pdf files for the sides and rear. Great instructions, with a lot of pics.

I used this writeup too for front bumper: M-Tech Bumper install...
MaE60D pointed out quite clearly that removing the stock front bumper can be pain in the a... Especially those three clips on the sides.

And of course this TIS: M Aerodynamics Package Conversion !!!
In section 4 there is a list of other TIS's which may be needed for preparation. Very useful ones, I recommend.

Here is my short writeup of my install: M-tech kit installed!
Not very helpful though...

Okay so I finally got my M-Tech kit last week and I spent the better part of my Saturday putting it all together. Everything went together nicely (after a couple tries of course) thanks Tony for making it happen, the car looks amazingly better with this kit. I hate to admit it, but the normal E60 front bumper looks like grandma's car, haha. Sorry if I offended any Grandma's on here!

Anyhow I found a nice shade tree today and thought Id share some photos with my friends on here. Im sure this is nothing new, but Im stoked about it! Anyhow enjoy, next on my list is the ACS spoiler in the garage....probably gonna take it to the body shop this week.
looks hot!
nice job
