M-Tec Cree LEDs Blackout DIY

I picked up some of the new MTEC CREE LED License Plate LED's from Brabusw209amg when he was having a sale

...got them in the mail a few days ago...as many of you know the housing is chrome. Me no like.
Decided to spray paint the chrome housing matte black using some stuff called Plastidip. Freaking awesome stuff. Taped up the lens, and painted over the chrome...took like 5min and the end result looks very OEM.

I couldnt find plastidip ANYWHERE!!!


nevermind. finallyt found it at homedepot.com. last time i checke,d it wasnt there.

You guys are killin me!

Brabus should pay me for this

All I got right now is pics of the CREE LEDs...John's thread had comparison between OEM and Cree I believe...and Cree is definitely brighter than old M-TECH.
