I don't know....if it mounts flush to the body panel then I don't think it would look that bad. And of course I am going to leave the M5 badge off. If I have 60 laying around in the near future I will buy them and post some pics of the results.
Fair enough?

It looks to me like it will be pretty obviously a stick on addition. I would do as others have suggested and get the fenders cut to run real grilles. I also agree that no M5 badge should be allowed near your cars sphere of influence.

Dont do it....dont cut your fenders and put in grills ....dont use stick on grills.....dont put on m5 bumpers etc etc.
Just buy an M5!!!
You have a beautiful car the way it is, why make a fake m5
why pose?
its like a 318i with an m3 badge on the trunk it always makes you laugh
just my opinion...

If M5's were the only, or the first car on the road with side grilles your comment about posing might apply. I think in certain applications this looks good, but in any circumstance - to each their own.

Well the e60 m5 is the first e60 with side gills
so i would say i disagree and say an e60 with side gills that is not an m5 is posing.
Because it is not an m5
I was not speaking of m3's...pontiacs...cadilacs etc etc
I am aware that the m5 is not the only car with gills....but if you read my post that was the car i was speaking about.
In some applications they do look good that i agree with.
But i really dont think this is one of them haha
I just hate m stuff on non m cars

It is not flush. It will look raised and like a magnet on a refrigerator. If you do this you might as well just stick your grocery list to your car before you drive to the store. =)
