Hi Sean, Eventually got sorted out with Auto doc and purchased 2 Sachs springs. They came up with these from the chassis number and their price was well below everybody else, also most springs I was being offered were unbranded. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks Paneuro.

Hi guys, got an email from Autodoc yesterday saying they did not have these springs in stock but could supply another make (Supplex ) at the same price. I cancelled and they refunded the money immediately, I tried to find Sachs springs elsewhere without success, I called back and found that they only had one spring so I purchased it and they promised to let me know when they had new stock and I could purchase a second one. At least it gets the car back on the road. cheers Paneuro.

Hi guys, still no further forward finding springs. Got an email from Autodoc saying they did not have the spring they told me they had so I got another refund. They offered Supplex springs again,
I googled the oem number and the first 10 hits all were offering Supplex , all other springs on their list were out of stock. I wonder why everybody is pushing Supplex springs. Could it be the profit margin perhaps? thanks Paneuro.

If you are trying to find the part number you gave you can buy it on eBay.

The part number I gave you is also on eBay.

It can't be this hard to find a couple of springs. I would leave that company alone. You can pick which one you want to get.

Hi Sean, the OEM part number is 31336769003, the Sachs number for the same part is 998479 and so far nobody has them. I've emailed them and asked if they have them so will let you know the outcome. I don't know what they will charge for carriage from Lithuania? it will probably be the cost of another spring, who Knows . thanks
Paneuro.

You're going to be searching for a while. The part number you were given was discontinued and replaced with the number I'm giving you. They are both the same part for M sport.

Hi Sean, If you have a look at the sizes of the 998479 it is the correct size for my car length 304mm, the 998475 replacement is much longer 321mm so not the same spring, I think it's for an e61 without M sport suspension? thanks Paneuro

Hi Sean, I got an email from Masteda services today saying they could not supply the right spring for my car. I gave them all the part numbers and info I've got and they do not have it so I will just have to keep trying. thanks Paneuro.
