Has anyone installed the bmw m footrest?? I saw one on ebay from a store called CarBeyond Store and they're selling them cheap. When I asked about the fitment this clown assured me that it would fit the 5 but I wanted some reassurance. I'm not really wanting to buy it to only find out that it doesn't fit. Honestly I think it appears smaller than other one's I've seen and it looks more for a 3 series. The dealership down the street from my office sells them for more than twice as much. Doesn't make sense. Anyways I got the guy to give the part number and it's BMW 51477906851. He's selling it for like $32. What do you guys think? I appreciate your input. Hope everyone had a nice holiday.

Or can anyone recommend where I can pick one up?
www.bekkers.com is where I got mine
Be forwarned installation is a total PITA. The existing one is GLUED to the carpet and the M one will NOT fit over it. I had to cut the old one up, in place with a dremel and use a razor blade to carefully cut the rug away from the pieces. PITA, but the new one looks much better...

Hey thanks for the info. I will take that into consideration. I didn't think it was going to be that much work. PITA huh?
