No. I've taken my car into servicing and the dealership hasn't said anything at all. If a problem exists b/c of the springs then they can void the warranty.

I noticed you're looking at the H&R springs. Note, the one on sale in the Classified forum is Race springs which gives you a 2.0 drop everywhere. Here are pictures of two e60s with Sport Package and H&R Race springs: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=28440. You'll get the slammed look.

the law for aftermarket modifications is as follows:
The dealer must be able to prove that the aftermarket modification was the cause of the malfunction. If they can't prove it then they are subject to upholding the warranty.
Some dealers will mess with you and still tell you that it has voided the warranty, but this is illegal and you can either take your business elsewhere or pursue it with BMW NA, etc.

How hard is it for a BMW tuner shop to put these springs on? Is it really involved or just an "out patient" procedure?
